“I have known Lori for a number of years now and have always been so impressed with the extraordinary care she takes of her own aging pets. I have also referred some of my clients to her – they have all been delighted with her services. Recently I had the opportunity to have her care for my own geriatric cats. They have multiple medical needs and are generally a bit fragile. Lori exceeded my expectations! My kitties were carefully tended to and their every need met. Lori is extremely observant and detail-oriented, which is a crucial attribute for a caregiver. Even better, she has a loving soul and a generous spirit – my cats were clearly peaceful and content with her and loved all the attention (and massages!) she gave them. She sent photos and checked in with me daily while I was gone. I have been around many animal caregivers throughout my life and career, and I give Lori my absolute highest recommendation.
Our house was a revolving door of cat sitters until we met Lori at Whisker Wise. At that time we had a very ‘spirited’ cat, Lark. We would dread leaving for a weekend because Lark would always let us know in her special feline way what she thought of THAT pet sitter. Then we met Lori… the Cat Whisperer. Lori is wonderful and has a gift to bond with our feline friends. We never worry when we go away. Every time we travel, we return to happy and content kitties.

We love having Lori to watch out rabbit Kirby when we are away. He really enjoys staying with her and is always calm and happy when we pick him up, in fact, she has such a nice set up for him with toys and boxes to play in that he sometimes seems to want to stay + not come home! Lori is so good with him, spending time with him and giving him pettings and attention as well as sending us photos and little updates while we are away. The last time she watched our boy, he had just had a vet visit for tummy troubles and she gave him his medicine and took great care of him while we had to be gone. I always feel confident that our sweet boy is in the best hands. Thank you Lori!

It is my pleasure to provide a reference for Lori Alexander of “Whisker Wise Pet Sitting”. Before our dwarf rabbit “Shadow” had her first “vacation stay” at Lori’s house, I wanted to get to know the person and place we’d bring our beloved pet to. Lori instantaneously agreed and opened her home to us. She is a very friendly and welcoming person and I feel that she truly cares about animals and their well-being. Lori provides indoor as well as outdoor space for her pet guests. She set up a whole room in her house just to accommodate bunnies. It contains lots of bunny-safe toys like huge cardboard tubes, mazes and things safe for a bunny to chew on.
Lori always listens carefully to the pet owner’s requests. She likes to know about the pet’s daily routines, so she can follow these as closely as possible to make the pet the most comfortable. She always reserves time during the day for playing with her furry guest and she even sent us daily photos of Shadow, so we would see that she’s doing well! Not that I had any doubts about that, but Lori knows how we’d miss our bunny, and our kids got especially excited to learn how our bunny spent her vacation.
Lori proved to be a very capable and responsible pet sitter and I would highly recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a pet sitting service. We already scheduled Shadow’s next stay with her.
